How can you become a falconer?

Its something im really fascinated in, but know little about. How do you get into it? I know you have to find a sponsor. Tell me more about it :]

You need to find someone who has done it for a long time that you can apprentice under, so you can learn the proper techniques and care for a bird of prey.

Once your apprenticeship has been fufilled, you can get a license for your own falcon.  you have to pay yearly dues and license fees in order to keep any falcon, since they are a protected species.
