How can you become a homeopathic doctor?

I'm not asking a question to see whether homeopathy is fake or not- so please refrain yourself from saying offensive things..

but anyway, I am wondering how one can become a homeopathic doctor. I guess you call that position a homeopath since it's not really a "doctor".

1)What education and certification do you need to have patients come in and you diagnose for them and suggest the right homeopathic medicine?

2)Do you have to already have a degree in regular medicine like being an Registered Nurse or a doctor?

3)How about for animals? What education do you need and do you already have to be a vet to practice?

thanks!

  1. the largest and best homoeopathic schools are in India. Also the cheapest to study and you can become whatever you want to be.With the M.D. or without. And they speak English as second language pretty fluently.

Yes there is always hope most of the time we can’t help people in bad shape until there on death row because the doctors will blame us if anything happens while there treating them but once they say there’s nothing we can do for him or her, call the family to say good bye then we come in and save them.

  3. Well, sort of a complicated question.  I will take a stab at it and hope you get an answer from a homeopath about it.

For one thing, there are two homeopaths in my county who are licensed MD's.  One that I use is a Naturopath.  ND's have their own medical schools, studying anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, human disease, etc. like most regular doctors.  They do not train in surgery and are not licensed to perform it.  One of the local MD's is trained in acupunture and most of his work is done in that field.

Homepathic veterinarians are trained and licensed as regular veterinarians.  Charles Loops, DVM, Don Hamilton, DVM, Christina Chambreau, DVM. and the one I use for my cats, Jeff Levy, DVM.    Homeopathic veterinarians in the UK must be licensed veterinary surgeons with traditional veterinary training.

Some veterinary homeopaths have no formal veterinary training (Yahoo list owners Irene de Villiers and Magda Aguliar are two such) and some homeopaths have no medical training.

The British Institute of Homeopathy in the US has programs for both human and animal practitioners and offer programs to qualify in both fields.

Human homepaths MAY be RN's.  Veterinary homeopaths MAY have a background as veterinary technicians. And that it not a requirement for certification.

So some people have traditional medical training, plus many years of "internship" with a qualified and experienced homeopaths in either field.

The same 2000+ homeopathic remedies are used with animals and people.  There is no special repertory for animals.

  4. I think they let homeopathics into med school now.  It might be don't ask don't tell like with the homeopathics in the army

  5. I won't say anything offensive, I will just give you the plain truth.  Homeopathy is a completely implausible philosophy that violates the laws of chemistry and physics that have been established by thousands of scientists over the past 200 years.

Hahnemam's "laws" were invented by him alone working in isolation.

    1) Homeopathy does have official schools where you can learn how to dispense nonsensical ideas

    2) You dont need any other education to become a homeopath. Some might actually say that higher education in the sciences would disqualify you.

3)Vets cost too much money already.  I don't want to spend that kind of money and just get placebo pills.

    Your welcome
