  1. you have to subscribe to caller ID first.

  2. I wanted to block specific phone numbers. So I bought a device called 'Call Manager' from Privacy Corps.. You must have Caller ID to use it. You can block ANY number from calling you, and blocks of numbers, like 'Out Of Area', 'Private', 800 numbers, etc. Check it out, (about $99.00) http://www.privacycorps.com

This is not an ad. I found NO other way to really do this with phone company options!! Works great. Holds a lot of numbers.!

  3. OK...you don't wanna change your phone number and the do-not-call-list is to slow in working....right!! well, then you only have one option here............get yourself a caller ID manager...!

I get now for free call-block from my phone provider, but I also have that little gizmo, and you will have so much peace in your household....!

in the time being, try using *77 ACR!!! its anonymous call rejection...

I got it for 69 dollars at hellodirect.com with free shipping!

It will show 99 dollars on the website, but if you sign up with your email address...they give it to you for 69 dollars, that what I have done!!!

  4. Doesn't sound possible without changing number BUT you could get Calling Line Identity (CLI) display and not answer when you see that number calling.
