How can you catch mewtwo without using a master ball in pokemon leaf green?

my cousin said that I can't catch mewtwo anymore,because mewtwo will dodge the balls.But I already used my masterball on zapdos.Is there any other way to catch mewtwo without using a masterball?

Getting it's HP low, inflicting a status condition

Get a pokemon that can perform 'sleep', get mewtwo's health way down (be careful not to kill it) then perform sleep and throw a pokeball, worked for me!

Yea you can use the cheat for it when you use an ultraball just press b as soon as it comes out and it will catch any pokemon.

Yes, if you look on youtube.com there's a video that shows a Mewtwo that is captured using only a Pokeball (yep, not even a Great Ball).  It is possible but difficult; be sure you have the following first:

-A pokemon that knows a sleep move.  

-STRONG pokemon that know healing moves like Rest/Recover.

-MANY Pokeballs (Ultra Balls will probably work best, of course)

-Patience- this can take a while.  

You'll probably also want to save the game first before battling him just in case something happens.  Good luck catching him, and I hope this helps!  :)
