How can you clean a burn carpet?

My brother was ironing and he drop the iron in the carpet, the carpet got bured. Do you know how to take the bured part of the carpet off?? Please help!!!!

It depends on the type of carper.  Berber?  Nothing you can do.  Regular carpet?  Trim it down, then go scrape/razor off shavings from another, hidden spot in the carpet (like a corner).  Put down some super glue in the trimmed part and sprinkle in the shavings to make it less obvious.

try this question on home maintenance....

I know you can cut the carpet spot out and replace with a piece of the same carpet, but I don't know how to exactly do this...

Unfortunately a burn is a burn.

Suggestion:  If this carpet was layed in a closet - use that piece to replace the one area that is burnt.  If you cannot do this yourself - call a local carpet store for help.

How big is it? If small area you can just trim down loops with some scissors.
