How can you clean dirt from a fake leather sofa?

Our dog always sits on this couch and has managed to leave quite a dirty mark there. I have taken a picture of the seat.

If anyone can suggest something I might try to remove this. Thanks

Buy a vinyl cleaner so it won't hurt the finish on the furniture.  Put a towel or blanket under the dog and just wash it next time!

Try saddle soap.  It is used to clean leather shoes.  It is sold where shoe polish is sold.

A second, safe choice is Murphy's Oil Soap.  It is sold anywhere laundry detergents are sold.

Mix with water.  Wet the dirty spot and wipe with a clean rag, soaked in cleaner.  Have enough rags available so that you don't put a dirty rag back into the soap mixture.
