First one is a cable router and the internet cable is connected to its WAN port. From one of its LAN port goes the cable to the second routers(wireless) WAN port. I don't know what setting to change that the 2 routers to recognize each others networks. Internet connection is fine.

  1. I don't quite understand what you mean, but I think you mean that the computers can't "see" the computers connected to the other router.

Fixing this is simple. Go to the second "wireless router" that the internet connection isn't plugged into, and switch the wire that goes from it to the cable router to one of the LAN ports instead of the WAN port. this will put them all on the same network segment and they will all be able to communicate with each other.

IM/email me if this isn't the situation or it doesn't work.

  2. If you want to expand a network, the best thing to do is add a switch instead of a second router.
