How can you convince your parents that our neat freaks to let you get a puppy?

I want a husky so bad just a nice friend! I`ve told them I would take care of him play with him love him make him p**p outside and every thing! I have a hamster but a want an animal that does not have to be put in a cage 24/7!

Maybe instead of getting a husky, get a smaller non-shedding dog. Small dogs are very playful and easier to take care of. Big dogs tend to get into everything and can destroy furniture. Small dogs also can be "litter box"  Trained. Maybe consider a Shih Tzu, or Toy Poodle, or maybe a Maltease. Good Luck!!

Try taking care of a friend's or neighbor's dog. People are always looking for cheep and safe ways to leave their dogs when they go on vacation. By letting you watch their dog that friend or neighbor will save money on kennel costs and you get to show your parents how responsible and capable of keeping a dog you are. Plus, if it is completely unbearable (hopefully not) to have a dog of for some reason you cannot handle the dog there is no heart break because the dog already has an owner.
