How can you cover up pet odor?

My 17 year old boyfriend is coming over saturday,and my house smells kind of bad.My kitty is sick and has peed in a few places threw out the house.And mybeagles smell like beagles.lol.

What can i use that will make my house smell really good?

Like if i use some candles,what brand works well?

And please dont say ferbreze!it doesnt really work well.

Maybe try shampooing the carpets to get the pee out. Try some Glade candles and spray air fresheners.
