I have the same problem. It always sounds like I'm shouting hehe. Just need to let it out, otherwise you can damage your vocal chords, which hurts :(  This is gonna sound weird, but try letting more air out through your nose. The only problem with this though is that it can bring a bit of greeness (if you catch my drift) Lol- it's never easy!! :D :D :D

You can cover your nose and mouth. That way you decrease sound and you don't spread your germs.
