I have a PS2 game with 2.28 GB of memory and I want to delete everything on the DVD-R, but I can't since its protected and non-cracked. Is there any program or action for me to do or download so that I can erase all the data on the DVD-R(DVD)?

Thanks in advance!

  1. You can try formatting it. Put the disk into your computer, then double click on My Computer. Then you should see the disk there. Right click on the disk and click Format. Choose quick format. It should remove everything unless the protection does not allow that. You can search on the internet for something.

  2. Put the disk in a shredder, or lay it on the ground and hit it repetitively with a hammer. That is the only way you can insure no one can get your data.

  3. You cannot format or change any data on the DVD-R because it is not a multi-session disc as it is a PS2 game and DVD-R is not rewritable.

  4. Well if it's DVD-R then you obviously can't change anything once it's been written on. You should have used DVD-RW

  5. You should have used RW (rewritable disks) instead of R, which is read only. This means, the data is written into it permanantly. You cannot erase it.

Only way? Put a nail hole, throw it in the garbage. Also, cut up the edges. That is the reading area - which the computer cannot access if it is cut up.
