How can you delete more than one of your favorites from your favorite list?

How can you delete more than one of your favorites from your favorite list?

Enter organize and delete them one at a time.

You can delete as many as you want, but to my understanding you can only do it one at a time.  I use IE7 as my Internet browser and I just tried to select two favorites at one time. It isn't possible.  I know you can delete groups of e-mails or saved documents with one click so it certainly would be convenient to be able to delete more than one favorite with one click also.
