  1. Right click on IE and choose internet properties.  Then you just clear history.  This will actually clear all the addresses.  I don't think you can just choose certain ones to delete.

  2. With browser open, press Ctrl + H and scroll through the history. Highlight the ones you want to delete and press Delete. If deleting all, then open Internet Options in IE and clear all files from there are use the Disk Cleaner Utility found under Accessories>System Tools.

    IE:

Sep 1 Click Start on the desktop.

    Step 2 Go to Settings.

    Step 3 Click Control Panel.

    Step 4 Double-click Internet Options.

Step 5 Make sure the General tab is selected.

Step 6 Click Clear History in the History box.

Step 7 Click OK when it asks if you want to delete all items in your history folder.

Step 8 Click OK at the bottom of the General box to exit.

    Mozilla:

Clear history by clicking the "Tools" menu, "Options", clicking the "p****y" button, and under "History" click the "Clear" or "Clear Now" button.

    or

Press CTRL + Shift + DEL to open the Clear Data Window.

    Opera:

Delete history by clicking the "File" menu, "Preferences", "History", and click "Empty now" button. In addition, users can check "Empty on exit" if you wish for this task to occur each time you exit the browser.

  4. You should have a history button on your toolbar

    just delete the unused addresses

  5. select "Tools" at the top of explorer then "Internet options" then u will see in the middle of the box a delete browsing history bit - follow the instructions there.

  6. clear you history (assuming you don't need it) otherwise your only other option is to type new ones in until the old ones all "drop off"
