  1. one who cannot live without material things..

one whose world depends solely on clothes, equipments, gadgets, etc.

  2. It's a person that is concerned more about physical stuff rather than the soul. As far as a relationship goes you want to steer clear away from these types of people because the truth is they don't give a c**p about you.

Neither, it doesn't own you or you don't actually own it. You are just sinning for it because you desire it.

  3. 1. A materialistic person is one who would explore one's pocket rather than that person itself.

    2. There is a very think line between owning it and being owned by it. Even if I say that I own my material possession...there are still times that our fates would twist that would go otherwise.

  6. Its spending more than you can afford and buying garbage you don't really need.

  9. they're those people who were always preoccupied with material rather than spiritual or intellectual things. they're always envious when a neighbor or a friend have this new jewelry or car for themselves.

the only material thing i had is my old guitar and i definitely own it.

  10. A person that cares more for what they own than what they give.

All of my possessions are trash and I have and can walk away and leave them all behind anytime.

For any that think materiality is a virtue, I would challenge you to find the definition of " sin ".
