I'm trying to analyze various stocks, and I want to know who various company's suppliers are. Is there some source of data about the major suppliers for various public companies? Is this information released in SEC reports anywhere?

  1. Good luck, companies aren't required to report their suppliers in financial reports.  They may have to report then to the government as part of regulatory requirements (drug companies come to mind), but those reports are not generally available to the public.  The best I can think of is to just ask the companies, be prepared for rejection, even is they don't regard the information as proprietary they probably aren't going to go to the trouble of finding it for you.
