If you want to know what tax bracket you would be in how do you determine this? So as to find out how much your investment is subject to be taxed ?

  1. First work out your actual or your projected income. Take of your tax-free allowance. Compare this figure with the taxation bands in your particular country.


  2. It would help to look at last year's tax return.  Find you taxable income and filing status (married, single).  Search for the 2008 tax brackets and then match your taxable income and status to the right bracket.
