  1. kick him in the knackers

  2. you can use misdirection

as in go left to right to left to right

    step over

out muscling( fernando torrres vs phillip lahm euro 2008 final)

  3. You will have to rely on your deception and ball skills. Try practising a step over so you can fake going one way then go the other. This may give you 1m headstart which may be enough to do something with the ball.

Apart from that try practicing passing within your team. 1-2's can help you get past a defender if the team can perform them well.

  4. Change directions often to get the defender off balance. Burst out with speed when he catches up change direction again. Make sure you get the defender off balance.

  5. You need to pass the ball or make them go to ground in the challenge. Doing 1-2's, reverse rollovers, step overs etc can help but will only buy you a metre max before he's on your case again.

You can do this by knocking the ball far enough away from yourself to make it look like you have created a 50/50 challenge opportunity. You'll not be able to do this straight away, and will need a couple of attempts to measure the distance the defender can cover in the same amount of time as you can. When the defender goes to ground for the challenge knock the ball passed him. You can then follow the knock on or you'll have been fouled, giving you dead ball/free kick advantage.

    Good luck.

  6. It would be a lot more easier to pass it around them.

If not, try to start accelerate around them when they are in a position to tackle the ball, cut back infield.

It takes a lot more for the defender to stop and start than it is for you.

  7. So far the answers have been good, just when you get that extra step or two on the defender before he starts to gain, take a slight step in to his path and lower your shoulder, stop the ball and plant your feet. Once he's had a shoulder to the sternum he'll think twice about challenging for the ball. You might find this to be classless but it's a good way to set the tone for the rest of the match, he'll either start fouling you or give and extra step or two.

  8. use your strength or do a 1 2.

  9. has to be deception but that will only give you a second your still need pace try and work on you fitness
