How can you dye hermit crab shells safely??

Is there any way you can dye shells for your hermit crab to move into?

You can buy fancy coloured ones from many pet shops. Some sites have a DIY shell kit for customising a shell, i think it looks tacky though. I prefer natural looking displays.

you don't. You cannot dye, paint, or manipulate a hermit crabs shell safely. These are animals not art projects.
