And I do not mean in order to not get detection on a sobriety test - I hope all drunk drivers get the slammer. I'm talking about someone who drinks but doesn't want to smell of it!

  1. listerine

  2. gum.

  3. Hmm...that's tough. Depends on the alcohol. You CANNOT hide beer breath! Time is really the only answer unless you're drinking vodka. Vodka doesn't have the residual "alcohol breath" like other alcohol....unless you drink a ton of it. But then, you have other things to worry about - like your body smelling like potatoes!

If it's just a few drinks. scrape your tongue, brush your teeth, and use a non-alcohol based mouthwash. Listerine is just more alcohol. Crest has a non-alcohol mouthwash available, and suck some breath mints and gum.

  4. You may reduce it a bit with mouthwash ans brushing. But since most of the odor comes from the lungs only time can eliminate it by the bodies metabolism of alcohol.

A food??? For a temporary fix depending on how much a person has drank-coffee. It has a strong odor and may, in part, mask the alcohol odor.
