How can you end a release form for a house before the tyme it says on it?

I'm not smart at this stuff but we moved to vegas lyke 1 month ago but we want to move back to bakersfield and my mom signed a release form for this house and says we cant leave until it expires. Can you leave before the stupid release for expires? if you can then how do you do it??

Yes, but not with out breaking the lease and being fined/sued or getting your landlord to sign a release form canceling the contract.

Yes, you can leave before the lease expires but it is going to cost you.  

Read your lease agreement.  It is a contract and is binding.   Normally you must give 60 days notice no later than the last day of the month.  Give your notice on July 31 and you're responsible for August and September rent, no questions asked.  On top of that you will likely pay a penalty for breaking the lease.  On top of the penalty some landlords withhold the security deposit.

The bottom line is, all you are doing is getting opinions from Yahoo Answers.  The final and legal answer is what it says on your least agreement.  You need to read that!

I would look for Free Legal Service in your area and ask them...also speak to whomever you signed the lease(?) or whatever.

They may help out and if not ask a legal service what the repercussions would be of ending it. You may be stuck with the payments, however, if the person finds another tenant or whatever, they cannot by law collect from 2 different parties for the same dwelling. They are obligated to post it somewhere (you can possibly help in this respect by advertising it) in order to say they cannot find replacement tenants.

thats right you are not smart.how hard is to understand.you sign something.you live by it.you must live off your family.thats why you dont understand.i also get the feeling its you that wants to go back.just go.give your mom and dad a vacation.learn what the real world is like.in about a month you will crawl back to vegas.
