How can you explain this demon in the photo, it has made it through all photo experts?

A family member may have known about the man's problems he was facing in life and wanted to scare him into changing his ways. So they go to a costume store and buy a mask of a scary creature and carefully place it over his shoulder and snap the picture.

The said family member developed the photo mentioned to the man that his ways were causing demons to follow him around and that he needs to turn to God.

That's one logical possibility. It fits, it's possible.

This is just an inspirational fluff piece on a local news station.  This is what producers put on the air when there is no real news and when they are feeling too lazy to cover something of substance.

a.) A religious and superstitious man who is recovering from drug abuse sees something that reinforces what he already thinks.

b.) There isn't a demon behind him.  It looks more like a kangaroo or a dog.

c.) The "experts" are a paranormal investigator (no bias there) and a photograph processor.  The photo guy just states it doesn't appear the photo was doctored.  Neither he nor anyone else acknowledges it could be a real picture that contains an optical illusion.

There is nothing to suggest this is anything paranormal.

So two "experts" - one who is a rather-less-than-credible judge - say they can't explain the photo.  Since there is not much resolution in the original photo and no other way to judge the image, why are you looking for a supernatural explanation?

Of course it only made it through one photo expert and one paranormal researcher, not "all the photo experts"

Also, keep in mind that Fox would prefer ratings to truth.

Without being able to examine the other photos at the event, its hard to say, there might have been something in the background which created this illusion.

Think about the classic Topps C3PO card with the giant erection. (look it up if you have never heard of it.) It looks real, and it wasnt doctored, but when you examine the photo closely, you can see how the illusion is created by the angle of the camera, making C3POs hip look like a giant p***s.

I believe this photo is an illusion. Whatever it was, probably didnt look like a dog at the time they took the photo, or it was something in the background that noone was paying attention to.

This is why it took so long for them to see it.

I had to laugh about the caption. A demon? Really? LOL! What criteria did they use to determine it was a demon? Why not a specter? A hobgoblin? A gremlin? A bogeyman?  A phantom? I would love to hear about the process of elimination they used to whittle away these possibilities to finally arrive at the only possibility left, a demon! They are a news outfit, after all. They are supposed to use good investigative work in their stories.

If its not a fake then it is really weird,  but I have seen a lot of strange stuff show up in photographs over the years. Out of the thousands of photos I've taken I have seen about every film flaw there is.  Never anything that looks that real,  it had to be in the background,  I wonder if somebody had dog at the party!?!

That's not a demon, that's a dog, and he's looking at the person who took the picture. He knows the person who took the picture. That's not unusual, our deceased cat Bentley follows us around.

All the answers have overlooked at least two extremely important pieces of information.

1. We now know that demons tempt you to do drugs.

2. The drug tempting demon looks like a dog.

Personally, I think it could be his guardian dog and my dog and I are very insulted at even the suggestion that a demon would appear as a dog/wolf.

Seriously if this is not an optical illusion then someone had a dog (or prop) at the event and just aren't fessing up.

Of course that's just my initial impression.

However, I doubt all the people involved would be willing to sign sworn statements and take polygraph tests. Then you might be able to at least consider something unusual taking place.

You have to look close over his left shoulder to see a wolf like face that no expert has been able to debunk as of yet.

I guess it was a good enough picture to turn the drug addict guy to Christ. It must have been pretty good then, eh?
