How can you find out about family/aupair scams?

i am an aupair looking for families and have to families replying my mails...one family have ask me to contact a travel agency and send my details to the travel agency such as my name, id's, passport number, personal details. and an amount of 750 pounds. they have offered to pay 500 pounds so means i only have to pay 250 pounds.

she also offered me weekly allowance and monthly salary.

(she offered me 1,830 pounds every 3 week and 320 pounds per week for pocket money)

do you think its a scam?

it sounds too good to be true.(the part about the salary)

but she has offered to pay more than half for you to the travel agency.

i think you shouldnt rush into paying yet.....think before you make a choice..

Rather than go thru a private family, I would seek employment thru an agency that specializes in the type of work you are seeking.  You would be sure to know it is not a scam.  Best of luck to you.
