It's called key logging. If you do get a key logging program, it will only start tracking after it has started running. You will not be able to see previous text entered, though. You must be cautious, though. Many virus protection programs won't let you have this on there, so you must tell your virus protection to allow this. Just make sure that you do not leave things such as bank card numbers and other important info to be taken by somebody if they were steal/hack your computer. Just be warned that this can be a dangerous decision.
