How can you find sponsors for a sports documentary?

I am in the process of putting together a documentary on the sport of Drifting. Drivers take their cars sideways though corners. I am looking for potential sponsors. I believe its a very marketable project. Does anyone have ideas of how to even contact companies for this?

I own a business.  I would pay you if you would put my name on at least one of the drift cars.  You can go to local businesses.  You have to promise that if you don't complete the film, you will return their money. /
