How can you fine out if some one is useing more than one name on messanger?

well you can't. If they have more than 1 e-mail account they can have as many screen names as they want. I run 12 different screen names becuase of family, friends, work and my kids. There is no way to find out how many they have unless they are truthful with you. Sorry no better answer for you than that. As for the messenger you can do a search but thats not going to do you much good especially if they don't use the right personal information. The messenger's will search data bases using first and last names but the down fall to that it is not mandatory that you use your actual name to set up an account just a valid e-mail address.
