How can you fix a blackberry pearl?

So. My friend just got a used black berry pearl. The only thing wrong is the screen won't light up, the buttons will but not the screen. Anyone know how to fix it?

I wouldn't recommend fixing that yourself. If you have a warranty take it to them, and they'll fix or replace it.

If you don't I you'd point you to Google and search for cell phone repair in your area.
