How can you fix a camera.....if?

my friends camera broke....i mean the screen cracked................it works fine...but the screen has like broken glass and what not

i need some help

you would need to find the same model as a donor camera for parts, best to look on ebay.

you need to know what you are doing though, replacing a LCD can be tricky, because if you tear a ribbon cable, you have more problems.

If you cant do the tech work, sell it on ebay as parts and buy a new one.

The idea of reparing it is a good idea but you know its true once you open up the camera, there is a lot potential to do some damage.  The question is a you willing to take that risk.  I would suggest seeing a professional before opening up the camera.
