The ring of death? Unless you have some sort of engineering degree, you probably can't do it yourself. The box should still be under warranty, as Microsoft extended it for owners with this error. So your best bet is to send it in to MS. I hope you saved your box and manual!

If you have a warrenty, you can simply send your 360 to them to have it repaired and they will send it back good as new in about 3-5 weeks. This is why the extended their warrenty to 3 years. So just do that and you will  be fine.
