  1. It is an exciting game especially when it is close and you want your team to win, when emotions get involved logic goes out the window

  2. The matches are not rigged.

The AFL is not organizing teams to win to gain support.

    This is nor Italian soccer.

  3. Hmm, yeah, I remember a couple of years ago when Barry Hall was allowed to play in the finals even though he should have been reported...

  4. You should forget the polotics and focus on the greatess of the game.

So what some clubs are rigged, it hasn't exactly helped them win premiships over the past several years has it?

  5. dunno Colin but it's making it hard to keep following AFL.....

it's sad that the game is going the way it is . .all about $$$$ not about supporters.

  6. are you referring to a particular team?

    sydney swans, perhaps?

i agree if youre talking about sydney. they get every decision their way. most recently, they got just a fine for blatantly CHEATING against north.

  7. i guess your talking about the swans

  8. Like to know who you are talking about here, which team won where they want the support.

Richmond, no they heave huge support in melb

    coll, ditto

Sydney, they don't want them to have support in Adelaide.

west coast, no they have support in WA

Carlton, no they also have support in melb.

I don't know what you are referring to, sorry.

  9. AFL is not rigged!

It is as serious as World Championship Wrestling & Gladiators!

  10. I am finding it hard Colin. I see that umpires may very well be encouraged to only notice certain happenings on ground during close games in order to throw the results in a certain direction. I noticed that tonights Dreamtime umpiring was very fair up until the point of the Bombers starting to make a comeback in their score and then the amount of obvious free kicks to Essendon that went unpaid was disgusting! In my opinion this may have more to do with betting and AFL profits than team location though. I would not be surprised if these goings on explain Darren Goldspinks sudden departure from umpiring; He was one of the "good umpires"!

  11. i dont understand

    im dumb

  12. Sounds like an irked Power fan or a grumpy tipper to me

  13. the afl has been doing this ever since it went national

  14. its been rigged since 1982 when the swans went to sydney and gets worse every year the interstate teams have sent the comp back uumm 26years so far

  15. At first I thought you were talking about Collingwood and the strange 2nd year in a row 'coincidence' whereby they play the most games at home in Melbourne...but then I realised they don't need any more support.

The AFL have the power to tell a Victorian club (or two) that it is time to go in the greater interest of the national game ... they just don't have the balls to follow through with it.

  16. i agree with RFC on this one mate... who are you talking about?

  17. It's easy to follow an AFL team.

Especially when there is no evidence whatsoever that any of the games have ever been rigged.
