  The answer before this one has several wrong information.

In Tekken: Dark Ressurection, includes all the outfits found in Tekken 5 but with more customization.  You do not need to buy the different costume, you simply need to press the button that corresponds to the outfit.  Unlike in Tekken 5 for PS2, you need to purchase it.Some characters have a third costume, which can be used with Triangle.  Some characters have a fourth costume, which can be used with Circle.  And lastly, Ling Xiaoyu has a fifth costume which can be used with L1 shoulder button.  Also, the extra outfits are CUSTOMIZABLE, unlike in Tekken 5.

Costumes:

First Costume ("training/fighting outfit") = Square

Second Costume ("outfit of choice") = X

*Third Costume (extra costume) = Triangle

*Fourth Costume (extra costume2) = Circle

*Fifth Costume (extra costume3) = L1 shoulder button (only Ling Xiaoyu)

**pressing the extra outfit buttons when your character does not have an extra costume will just select either the first or second outfit.

Unfortunately, in Tekken: Dark Resurrection, there is no option to purchase a completely different outfit for the character. The only way would be to customize all the character's categories to make it look as different as you can, but there isn't any completely different outfits to purchase like there was in Tekken 5 =(.

However, there are a few characters that have a third costume that is non-customizable, that can be selected by using TRIANGLE to select the character. I don't know exactly which characters do, but I know Jin is one of them, and I know that if you try to go into customizing, if you use triangle to select the character and they have a third outfit, it won't let you go to the customizing thing.
