  2. Look on line and see if they have an on-line embassy.  Sometimes it can all be done on-line.  OR...just enter the name of the country, followed by the word 'visa'...like this, for example..." Bahrain, visa" in the search bar and click 'go". It will bring up private visa service companies that will, for a fee, take your info and apply for the visa for you.  If you are an American citizen, you can see the site below, choose the country you are interested in, and read under "entry requirements" to see if you need a visa.  There are usually links given to get visa info if one is needed.  You can use the second site to check to see if you need a visa, no matter what your nationality.  Just enter your nationality and destination and click for the info.  However, you are then on your own to get the visa info.
