  1. Spray WD40 on it, let it soak in for 5 min., then spray a little more, and rub with your finger.  Then clean off the wd40 with windex, or a degreaser.

  2. without damaging the car is the key ....Any petroleum distillate product will remove the glue... along with the protective finish, (designed to protect the paint job). The vegetable oil  answer is a good trick, however, without knowing how much area needs to be DE-glued... you maybe in for more work than you think... What  I'm trying to say is, if you value  the paint job .. go to your local parts store and ask for some good advice.. better yet call an auto body shop ..You definitely  want to use products designed to clean and protect the cars' finish... If it's a 96' Escort,.. I'd use 60'grit then spray paint "OUCH" OVER IT ...lol...... Good Luck.....

  3. Try a hair dryer, and blow heated air over the sticker before trying to remove it. Once warm, try pealing the sticker off. You should be able to get all the sticker off at once, and use the goo gone to remove any stickiness afterwords. Good luck.

  4. you can try alittle vinager and water vinager removes the glu from other things alice

  5. A bit of petrol on a soft cloth, or - better still - AKRISOL which is pure virgin petroleum.

    Good Luck.

  6. Goof-Off, Oops or Goo-Gone will do the trick.

  7. cooking oil works, or petrol, or try using a rubbing compound.

  8. rub off using methylated spirits

  9. mayo

  10. All good answers so far. Ordinary cooking oil or margarine will do the trick too.

  11. lighter fluid (like you use in a zippo) never fails
