  1. Hummingbirds won't really flock to regular bird feeders with seed in them. What they really like is nectar. You can buy humminbird nectar at the store (Petsmart, etc.), or you can try putting sugar water with red food dye in it (the colour attracts their attention). My grandma has a nectar feeder outside her window and you can see the hummingbirds drinking from it. Good luck with yours. =)

  2. um u make up a mixture of sugar water and put the humingbird feeder somewhere close to a wooded area

  3. Sugar water with a hint of red coloring always works.

  4. Just put it out there and wait..it may take them a little bit of time to find it.  If you live in the Eastern US...the hummingbirds may be few and far between as some may have already started to migrate.  You may have some stragglers over the fall season still looking for a meal.  If you live on the west coast you should get hummingbirds year round.  Also, red food coloring is not necessary, plain sugar and water should do it..the red color of the feeder is enough to attract them.
