How can you get rid of an appetite???

ok so, im not really that fat. im pretty skinny. i have a big butt and big thighs, byt i want to lose about 30 pounds. how can i cut off food? any specific diets that can work??? her is a pic now of current body type.

you cant see my entire body. but you get a general idea.

  1. Do some exercise and keep busy, if you're not bored then you'll be less likely to over eat. But you have a cute little figure so don't worry too much.


  2. This is what i did and i lost about 15 pounds (123-108) it wasn't instant but it was healthy and i didn't starve myself.

    FOOD

    Eat fruits veggies and lean meats like turkey and chicken breast.  Also fish is very good for you.  Try and eat fresh or frozen veggies because cans tend to have a lot of excess salt which you should avoid.    Switch to whole wheat bread.  Drink a lot of water throughout the day and skim milk and cut out sugary foods and drinks like soda. Make sure you dont eat anything fried or crispy theyre killers!!! hehe.  Also when i get the munchies after dinner i make a glass of green tea with splenda or chew some sugerfree gum.

    its also a good idea to get some excercise in there.  I run a lot or swim laps.  Or you could walk/run about a mile or two.  Just get some cardio in about 3-5 times a week.  Ellipticals are also good.  Excercise helps suppress your appetite so you won't feel as hungary.

  5. First off your gorgeous! But I understand wanting to lose the pounds. However let me tell you this. CUTTING OFF FOOD IS A BIG NO NO TO LOSING WEIGHT. When you don't eat your body's metabolism slows down, so when you decide to eat you're body won't digest it fast enough and you'll end up gaining weight. The best thing to do is stay on a steady diet and work out. Cut the juices, sodas and sugary stuff and stick to water, you should have a nice bowl of healthy cereal (smart start or even Special K red berries -my fav) in the morning then have 6 ounces of orange juice. Already you have your juice for the day and then the rest of the day should be water. Then, for lunch have a salad or a light sandwich. I would stay away from chicken ceasar salads because they're heavy and has MUCHO sodium and that can turn into water weight from the salt. But yeah, have that for lunch with a yogurt or a fruit accompanied with water. For dinner, your biggest serving on your plate should be your veggies with whatever is being cooked. Make sure you eat dinner before 8pm, drink water and with this diet you should lose up to 1 to 2 pounds a week also with proper work out. Mind you, weight loss is not easy and if you do crash ( not eating and losing weight or dieting improperly and not working out) Your body will get to that weight but your skin in your thighs will droop and get stretch marks from rapid weight loss, your b***s can get saggy and your arms will start flapping away. Not a good choice. So stay healthy and stay fit and those pounds will shred off.. Trust me this was my diet for some time and the results were great!  Best of Luck!

  6. You look pretty young, but you don't look THAT fat to be honest with you.

    Okay let's get to the point, you've admitted to having an appetite so we need to figure out ways to supress this feeling of wanting to eat loads.

    You can supress your appetite, by, Exercising, exercising supresses your appetite by releasing natural endorphins, also, exercise increases your motablism which will aid you in weight loss.

    Frequent small amounts of food will help you by losing weight because everytime you eat your body is burning calories.

    Try filling up on lean sources of protein (which are low calorie) like chicken.

    Bassically, the simple idea is to have a calorie deficit, if your consuming less that your burning your going to lose weight, try to aim to lose around one or two pounds per week.

    Most of all good luck, weight loss is pretty simple and effective, all you need is will power and your own your way to a leaner more trim figure.

    Try not to starve yourself though, starving yourself makes your body go into an emergency mode, so it stores every single peice of fat it can get hold of, so as long as your in frequent supply of food you should be fine.

    chew gum or ice or eat a piece of fruit when you get hungry and eat little and often. Your body will get used to it and stop being hungry so often

  11. You look fine... some girls have what is some times called birthing hips... your hips are physically wider and usually better for child birth... but from the pic i would say lets hope that doesn't happen any time soon... your far to young.  You look fine just the way you are.

    I've heard those "hunger" urges are really mixed signals in our body..that means we're actually THIRSTY not hungry...crazy right?? lol

    anyways..you really dont have to get rid of an appetite..just drink a whole glass of water before ANY meal you eat, and you will eat less, PROMISE! :)

    I think the best thing to do is eat 3 meals a day;

    and two snacks between meals.

    Dont eat anything past dinner!

    and excersize regularly.

    also cut out on fast foods,junk foods,soda,juice(unless its 100%)

    water is the best thing to be drinking.

  22. I think people are confusing "hunger" and appetite". The way I understand it "hunger" is when the body is telling one to eat. "Appetite" is what one wants to eat, regardless of whether or not the body "needs" it.

    Personally, I have a big appetite and I don't have a problem with it. I eat whole, real foods in ample quantities. I like to eat. I'm blessed with abundance. So, why not. I don't spend my days eating meats, white bread, conventional cookies and cakes, etc. I avoid things with enriched flour (fancy wording for white), corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, partially hydrogenated oils, hydrogenated oils, artificial colors and flavors. I read labels, though I'm pretty good at knowing what to avoid. Even if the company claims that it's healthy, it may not be. For example, I don't eat Kellogg's cereals because they containt he ingredients I avoid, and Kellogg's claims that all of their cereals are healthy.

    Today, I've not had as much as usual which is unfortunately, because I'm thin and could stand to gain some weight. However, Most days I have cereal and vanilla soy milk for breakfast, a sandwich (PB&J or a veggie burger on all-natural whole wheat or stir-fried tofu with bar-be-que sauce or soy sauce or even organic ketchup and mustard) and some quick-cook veggies. (I take frozen veggies, but them in hot water and take them out when they are thawed. This way, little nutrients are lost.) Today, though, I had fresh zucchini stir fried in Smart Balance Light spread. Yum. I usually have a snack in the afternoon, usually a fruit and/or veggie and/or a slice of whole wheat bread with Smart Balance spread. Today, though, I've just had the cereal, a veggie burger, the zucchini and an all-natural organic chocolate chip granola bar from Trader Joe's. Eh.

    If you think you're already pretty skinny, why the focus on weight loss? I don't really focus on my weight, or calories, etc., but just eat what I want when I want (even after seven). I'm happy and I'm healthy.

  23. Have you ever heard of Adderall or Ritalin? They are ADHD meds but they just make a normal person really hyper and your appetite will be gone all day.
