How can you get rid of mold?

Ok, so last summer the basement got flooded when it was raining REALLY REALLY hard. We got all the water out and dried it up as best we could (and we had just remodeled our basement, too). However, a while later after the flood, the bottom half of some parts of the basement wall began to 'grow' mold. It's soooo disgusting! We've cleaned that off as best we could too, but it won't go away. We used Vinegar mixed with water to clean off the mold. But it keeps coming back! What can we do to get rid of it? My mom says that it keeps coming back because behind the wall it's moist (the guy who re-did out basement put those walls up on the original basement walls, I don't remember what they're called). So I guess it's moist on the 'outer' wall of the basement, or just inside it. Now my mom has been keeping a fan on in the basement, blowing on the wall that has been re-growing mold again (the other walls seem to have stopped, but I guess we've got to wait and see). So far it nothing has come up, but I'm still worried about the mold in general. What can we do?

  1. bleach the h**l out of the molded areas.

  2. apply a mold seal then repaint

  3. That's not mold babe, that's damp.

That's going to need some construction work doing to it to remove it completely.
