How can you get rid of pond weed?

The only way to do it is fish it out by hand or a long handled rake - DO NOT USE CHEMICALS TO KILL OFF POND WEED unless you want to kill off fish and other wildlife in your pond.

There are aquatic herbicides made to do this.  I suspect you'll find plenty if you just google "aquatic herbicide".  This certainly disrupts the ecosystem, but if you want a clean pond, such as for swimming, and you own the pond yourself, I'd go this route.
