I've tried boric acid, raid, drops of something from walmart on paper.

I don't know what else to do, i even called an exterminator. My husband put some pellets down around the house too. Please help!

  1. my mom n dad use pepper..black ground pepper..

  2. Ants and bugs HATE Murphys Oil Soap. Wipe everything down with it, window sills, door jams....you will be amazed!

  3. this really works

get some artifcial sweetener like Sweet n Low (it has to contain aspertane) and sprinkle it where the ants can get it.

They take it back to the nest and it poisons them all.

Now this is also a good reason why people should not use it.

  4. All the things u did probably will help. Most ants are commuters and they need to leave the building daily and return to there nest; or more frequently so. Always treat the 5ft perimeter around the house. Also if there is a food source, they are great communicators. They do so thru a chemical trail they leave so all the other ants can follow suit to the food source. Remove the food source.. put it in the frig in sealed containers. Also identify and clean their trail well; so they loose track of where they are going. Also Raid brand inside ant and roach sprays works well.

  5. First wipe the  trail away with soapy water, then we sprinkle cayenne pepper near the entrance. We have found that growing peppermint around the house deters ants.

  6. One surprising thing, when your counter is covered with tiny ants, don't use poison, use Windex - it kills them instantly plus cleans your counter.
