How can you get scholarships even when you're at a disadvantage?

I'm having some issues with a hold on my student account, but as soon as I managed to pay them off, I'm going to re-register for either Fall or Spring semester. But in the mean time, can I still be able to apply for some scholarships?

Try scholarships.com or fast web. That is normally where I go to apply for scholarships. Their are a lot online that do not need to know that you have a hold on your account.
