How can you get someone to believe something they need to believe?

Question

I have been in love with a guy for 5 years.

I dream about him & see where he is my soulmate.

I have suffered with paranoia, anxiety attacks, and depression.

I have tried to prove it to him but he just thinks I'm weird.

He is in psychology with my right now; mjaor plus.

But I need him to understand where I am coming from...

Thinking seriously about telling the teacher story of me & him

in the past 5 years & what I have been going through.

P.S. We are both Seniors in High School.

You've just to try it by showing your feelings through actions. I'm not saying to speak to him because I'm sure you've already done this. Try to be with him when nobody else can be...listen to his questions and answer to him, show him the best of you in many activities that you have in common.

But have in mind that you have to respect what he desires....if he doesn't feel in the same way you've just comprehend this,accept it and go on.If you really love him you must want him to be happy even if he is not with you.

A little obsessed are we. And I know you CAN'T believe me, but you have no idea what love is. That gets defined at the age of 25.

Being in love and obtaining that love is hard in the first place and maintaining a relationship even more difficult. If you are seeing him...then try to put in different words or in a way he can relate to. If your not seeing him, then maybe you need to let him go and move on to someone who can appreciate your love for them....Believe me, I know it's very hard....I've been there. Your young still, don't spend all your time pining over someone who may never be completely yours. In any case, I wish you the best of luck.

You can't make somebody believe something that they're not willing to except.

Talking to someone about the situation would definitely help but I would suggest doing it in private.

To me, it sounds like you're trying to make this guy like you, and that's always a bad idea. Even if you succeeded, over time you would feel very paranoid that he only liked you because you "made" him.

what are you trying to make him believe? that you love him or that you have suffered with paranoia, anxiety and depression....cuz those might not be related.....

its not really a story about you and him to tell your teacher unless he has some feelings in return.
