How can you get those fragrance room sprays to actually stick?

I got this really good smelling room spray from pier 1 and i only need it in one room. I really want the smell to last, how can I make it last?

Once you have sprayed the room, spray a bit on some cotton balls and put into an open container like a candy dish.

Refresh with the spray when needed.
