How can you get trafficking opium/herion knocked down?

My nephew got charged with trafficking opium/herion it really wasn't that it was oxycontins but I am assuming that they classify it under that he lives in NC and theres a mandatory sentence of 4 yrs for that..how can you get it knocked down

oxycontin is a type of opiun & herion.

He needs 10-15 years in jail for doing such a terrible thing.

Oxycontin has kills thousands

Shame on him.  Make him do his time

to be called trafficing it assumes international law, not domestic law.  There is no grace in International law and no statute of limitations.

If this is a first offense and a small amount the charge may be reduced. It is the job of the Public Defender or his attorney to help him.

Get a good lawyer and it's basically up to the judge.  Those things also generally depend on the age and quantity involved.  They go easier on college students for instance.

If he did the crime..

Then he should do the time.

He needs a lawyer, only a lawyer can help him.
