How can you get your birth certificate back if you lost it?

Hi my mom lost my birth certificate and i need it for certain registrations and I dont kno how i can obtain it again?

contact your records department and it will cost about 25dollars this place is usually downtown

Contact the Vital Records department (state dept)  , of where you were born. You will have to pay for it , usually 15-25$ bucks.

Yes...you need to contact VITAL RECORDS from the state that you were born in.  Not the hospital.  I know I have had to pay a fee of $25 when I lost mine.  I don't know if it is more now.   Every state has a Vital Records Dept. with that Department of Health.

It depends on which state you live in, but the Vital Records office will get you another certificate for $25 or so. Where I live, the office is in city hall.

Hehehe ive lost mine about 30 times now. yes you can get it back just go to your local courthouse and to the clerks office, or where ever they might keep the records in your town, ask for it, they will have you fill out a fourm or your parents if your a minor. its 10 for the first copy and 4 for anyothers. (in michigan anyways) I usualy get 2-3 at a time altho that dosnt seem to help much! lol. well i hope this helps!
