How can you get your permit with no drivers ed class in the school?

I want to get my permit, but unfortunately the drivers ed class has been cancelled because of budget costs. Now how am I supposed to get my permit?

  1. You can get a permit by just going to the DMV and taking the test.

    Driver's ED is actually an option.  Not everybody can afford that.
