How can you hack into a password on your tv?

my stupid parents put a password on my tv and i want to know how to find out if i can get the password off my parents are so controlling and annoying does any one know how?

my hate-full step dad does the same thing to like family guy and stuff just to p**s me off,we have charter so i cant do combo's im not sure how actually, i would try the basics like 1111 2222 3333 and 1234 5678 and if none of those work

your b day ,your moms bday ,your dads bday ,siblings bday ,grandmas bday etc.

Bruteforce it (try all combinations) just to learn the c**p they put on the tube isn't worth it.
