How can you have a guest on the xbox ?

basically my cousin has brought his remote but when im on my account and he isn't he looks through profiles but mines blacked out please help many thanks

guests are specific to an individual game

to access the guest account enter the game u wish for him to play e.g cod4 and then when u are selecting players sign him in there should be an option for guest among the list of profiles

when u both have your controllers set up and go 2 sign in it will say Guest and the bottom of the profile page

it is possible  for your cousin to get his profile (gamer-tag) on your xbox 360 but i am not sure how u would go about  doing that
