Why not just let the market work freely instead of having to jump through government regulations?

Do you WANT the government forcing us to choose the most expensive energy solutions?

Look what a great environmental track record the Feds have already.  The low flow toilet......subsidies to farmers who switch from food to alky farming.....no nuke plants approved in a quarter century.  I'll believe Congress is serious about Renewable Energy when I see a wind turbine perched on top of the capitol rotunda, and solar collectors on the House and Senate office buildings.
