How can you hook up an electric guetar to a stereo?

The stereo has no input for the guetar.Tell me what I need to buy to hook it up.

  1. if you have some sort of input on the stero,then all you will need is some sort of pre amp to run thru like an FX  pedal


  2. If you do have a pedal...all you would need is 1/4" plug to RCA chords cable and there you go.
