  1. It's private information.  If it's not your house, or your loan, it's not your business.

    Assuming you mean, mortgage life insurance - they would have a policy.  They would pay for it.  But if you can't see their cancelled checks, and what company they wrote the check to, then you don't get to know that information.

    It's NOT included with the mortgage payment.


  2. If there is an outstanding mortgage the owners will have homeowner's insurance on the property because their mortgage company requires it.  

    If you are asking because you were injured while you were on the property and you plan to sue them for damages, once you retain counsel your attorney can make them provide this information.

  3. The bank to insure the investment, the owner has to provide house insurance and without that the bank eliminate the account. Every one has to have an insurance no matter what. It is a law.
