I use to have a giant adsense cpc last june and it's terrible this year. Whats a good profitable keyword that sustains itself.

You should consider niche marketing. I agree, for example, with the person who says (above) something about local keywords.

Consider using the keyword tool at Adwords also -- here you can see a comparison of search volume versus advertiser competition -- important information, for knowing how hard it might be to beat out competitors to certain keywords.

Try to use most advertised keywords. I recommend web hosting and business relted keywords on your web projects. The most important is trying to keep your content unique.
