How can you just be nonexistant after you die, that don't make any sense

Question

You can't just say nonexistant, because you were nonexistant and now you exist now. And there were people who was alive just like you, way before you born and have passed on. So you just can't say you will be nonexistant after you die.

People have been deceased for thousands of years, you can't just say they will be nonexistant forever. They have to exist again

Something is going to happen to all of us after we die, and you people know what it is.

What is your opinion about this?

Where are you (YOU, the conscious awareness of your body and its environment) when you sleep? You are non-existent. You are totally unable to bring yourself back to conscious awareness and depend on circadian rythyms of the body (or your mother) to awaken you. So to be non-existent after you die is not so mysterious; you do it every night (and always seem to come back to life in the morning so there is hope).

When you die, your body rots to dust. Your nervous system is gone, so you can't feel. You're eyes are gone, so you can't see. Your mind is gone so you cant think or care.

But I do believe in the law of conservation of energy: that is, energy can not be created or destroyed. I also believe that I have some kind of energy/soul/spirit in me that powers my body and mind.

That, I believe, will live on without this particular incarnation of my body.

I do not believe in God, Heaven or h**l. Only that we must continue to learn lessons.

huh, nonexisting is something I think that the human mind can not comprehend because as long as we are human living and born we have never not existed so we could never comprehend not existing

Why not? What proof is there to show that we don't just cease to exist? We still exist as matter that decomposes into the Earth and therefore never actually cease to exist (because matter can neither be created nor destroyed). Who is to say that we're simply not biological species just like everything else on the planet? We're born, we live, we procreate to carry on the species, then we die and turn to dust. Also, is spell check non-existent?

This is where religion and faith intersect.  We all have to come to our personal comfort level about what happens to us after we pass.

Our physical bodies die. But our spirit lives on. This life is just the start of eternity. And it is this life that will decide where you will spend eternity.Our spirit man lives forever. What you do in this life will determine what level you will be on in eternity.

I think everything you wrote is based on wishful thinking.  What logical reason is there to believe it?

Before you discuss existence and non-existence, I think you need to make inquiries into what and who "you" are. Who is this being that I know as "me"? Who am I? Once you have realized your true source of awareness then you'll know that Spirit is eternal and that is your core being, Spirit individualized as "soul" which inhabits the body for a time and then moves on into higher dimensions to continue its existence. There is no death to the soul, there is only a transition.

Energy cannot be created or destroyed but can change form.  Since all life is energy, when we die we change form.  Non-existant doesn't exist.  Blessings on you.
